Our event venue, The Ridge, is located at the beautiful Shaw’s Ridge, on the outskirts of Sanford / Springvale, Maine, where we can host amazing weddings in our modern farmhouse venue, or outdoors in our beautiful private meadow that boasts gorgeous sunsets.

Whether you are planning an extravagant wedding or an informal family reunion, we will be sure that every detail is covered for you.

We are available to handle the event details of catering and bar service, as well as all other aspects of hosting a spectacular event.

Bridal Suite

Our Bridal Suite is a stunning, light-filled space designed for the bride to get ready in comfort and style. Featuring plush seating and a full-length mirror, as well as a private bath, this room is perfect for bridal hair and makeup prep. The bride and her wedding party can retreat to our Bridal Suite to relax and prepare for the big day ahead. Refreshments and bubbly are served.

Gina Sawtelle from Above and Beyond Catering was the perfect caterer for our outdoor wedding buffet for our daughter and her fiance at our home. The venue was lakeside with 210 people. Gina came to our home a few months prior, as well as two weeks prior to the wedding to confirm all that we wanted for food and service. She set up non-perishables the day before and arrived early on our wedding day to ensure all would go smoothly. The food and service were exemplary! Wedding guests are still raving about both. And, we are still enjoying leftovers. Guests were served in lightning speed as we requested. Couldn’t ask for more. Would recommend to everyone and also look forward to anything hosted by Above and Beyond Catering in Sanford ME.
